My friend asked if OT is internally catty, due to all the women in the profession. I've rarely met an OT I didn't like. They are all awesome, sweet, funny, cool, people. So nyah nyah, just because we're a bunch of girls doesn't mean we fight all the time. We're more Sally Jessy than Jerry Springer.
This blog chronicles my OT journey starting from 2006 in the beginning of OT school, through 9 months of fieldwork, to my first year as an OT working in rural Deep South in physical dysfunction, to my transition into an elementary school system district in California. I'm in my third year now and learning new things every day. My mind is constantly blown by the amazingness of OT!

Men can be just as catty if not more. Keep up the awesome work Karyn...I don't see you as narcissistic at all. I see a very passionate and courageous OT student and our profession need more people like you!
lol...i never really thought about it, but it's the same here...not nearly as much catiness as an outsider would expect. we do have 6 guys in our class of 44, though.
