Have a midterm today in Management (for OT departments). We all know that even though it's a bad idea, that most people wait until the night before to really study. In this case, considering tornados were threatening the mid-South ALL of yesterday evening, I didn't get any studying done. It's hard to concentrate on studying when you're scared. Nobody I talked to managed to study last night. I got up early to study this morning at least...wish me luck. When I get home today (while crying because I probably will do poorly on the midterm) I'll write up our really cool shopping/cooking experience with simulated disabilities! It was surprisingly hard and frustrating! But good for us to experience!!!
This blog chronicles my OT journey starting from 2006 in the beginning of OT school, through 9 months of fieldwork, to my first year as an OT working in rural Deep South in physical dysfunction, to my transition into an elementary school system district in California. I'm in my third year now and learning new things every day. My mind is constantly blown by the amazingness of OT!
